• Sin and Punishment (2000, N64, 1 player, 1200 Points):

One of the greatest N64 games you never played. It’s well worth playing, but $12 is a little steep.

So you think your good at SMB? If you never played the SNES Mario Allstars collection then you may be in for a shock here. Definitely worth $6 for any true Mario fan

Not by any means a fantastic game, but I’m sure there’s some Potter heads out there wanting to pick this up.

• Super Thunder Blade (1988, Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Points):

The Genesis never had a shortage of After Burners and Space Harriers. If you’d pay $8 for either of those games then Thunder Blade might be up your alley.

• Yoshi’s Story (1998, N64, 1 player, 1000 Points):

I really wanted to like this game when it was first released, but compared to Yoshi’s Island SNES & DS, this really feels below par. If your craving your Yoshi’s then give it a try

• World Class Baseball (1988, TurboGrafx16, 1-2 players, 600 Points):

Another genericTG16 game, and a sports game no less.

A couple of goodies this week, Sonic is well worth getting, if you haven’t already played all the life from it over the last 10+ years

• Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (1994, Sega Genesis, 1-2 players, 800 Points):

To me, Sonic 3 represents Sonic at the top of his game, if S&K was locked onto this it then it’d be the best Sonic game that could ever hit the VC.

• NES Play Action Football (1990, NES, 1-4 players, 500 Points):

Call me crazy, but NES football games just fail on their premice alone, the 4 player could save this game a little though, only a $1.25 each!

• Neutopia II (1991, TurboGrafx16, 1 player, 600 Points):

If you liked the origional Neotopia back on 8/20 then here’s more Zelda style RPG for you

Only for hardcore Avatar fans, most reviews score this very low and complain greatly about the games repetitiveness.

For all Gamecube users, we have a little bit of Sam Fisher for you today, a darn fine game and worth picking up if you don’t already own it.

A slightly unusual collection of four games this week with some double nesige.

• Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole (1993, Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Points):

I tried out Landstalker quickly on Gametap, it behaves much like a Action/puzzle/rpg but unlike most games of this ilk, it plays from an isometric perspective, which can make many of the sections of the game that require good depth perception quite confusing.

• Donkey Kong Jr. Math (1985, NES, 1-2 players, 500 Points):

I last played DKJrM inside of Animal Crossing for the cube, the two player is fair, but it all feels like a long minigame

• Adventure Island (1988, NES, 1 player, 500 Points):

A quirky platformer, pretty run of the mill but it sounds like you aren’t able to walk to the left.. I’ve not had the pleasure of Adventure Island, so I can’t comment

• Bonk 3: Bonk’s Big Adventure (1993, Turbografx-16, 1-2 player, 600 Points):

A class platformer, it feels like an old Amiga game to me, but it has the blessing of co-op multiplayer which is the rarest thing for a platform game to have.
